i'm quoting from the wd40 can;

"wd40 cleans and protects effectivly cleans most surfaces of;... rust and corrosion"
( it attacks rust but it doesn't attack steel)

".......drives moisture off metal surfaces wirring cables spark plugs...."

it can't be bad for a glowplug if it isn't bad for a spark plug??.... i think....

maybe i was wrong about the silicone based thing.

piston and sleeve are not steel !! they are soft metal. Non of the pro use WD40.

3in1 oil is good for the job.

humm....but im using odonnell fuel...this shouldnt happen right?

and the plug that came with my engine is a turbo plug...and when i open up the engine, theres nothing cooked on the plug!

i dont think its that problem...ill try richen the engine up more!

Manticore: i thought you siad that engine oil works too....like...get the thinest you could find...and its cheap too...for a hole gallon of oil!

Yes 1:1 car engine oil works too ! get the thinest possible. i.e. 0WT.

Last time my brother ran out of gas on the road and my dad took two 1 litre apple juice bottle and filled it up, it only cos 40bux.

From now on I'll take my cars to the gasoline station and feed them there!

were talking about engine oil in place of after run oil! not for the fuel! nitro cars cant run with gasoline!

Marvel Mystery oil Is Great and Cheaper them 3-N-1 oil and Only 4.00 a Guart so it will last a few months.

its normal is the engine is leaking right? like through the bearings in the front? its making a huge mess and attracting a lot of dirt!!

an engine with properly aligned bearings should not be leaked while running but it will leak if you put too much oil inside when it is not in used.
