Try charging your batteries at a lower amp this will increase the mili amps I normaly charge at .05 amps my batteries peak at over 900 mili amps.
Always have two packs one for pratice and qualifying and one for racing so you don't kill your sells.

Works for me.

Default MTX-3 19/16

ok guys what's the real deal? some people say you ought to have a 1.5mm split others say 2.5 and even 4mm difference in tire diameter between front and rear, being the front tire the smallest when running 19/16 side pulleys in order to get even or close to even tire wear, what tire size is everyone prepping for the main? I am a newbie to nitro-foam tire stuff! please help.

thanks O.R.

We had to remove the 16/19 conversion because rear tire wear went through the roof. Our track is low wear normally and this past weekend everyone running the 16/19 conversion ended up running off a full set of 37sh in 30mins.

We normally only get 1.5mm max on the outside wheel.

Any ideas?

If it's low wear you only need to run a 1.0mm split
Try this set up
60/61
or
59/60

On our track I am running a 1.5 split with the stock pulleys. I didn't particularly care for the 16/19 conversion.

I see that in one of the past posts someone was told to get the MRX3 outdrives and front belt for their car. I was wondering if those outdrives were for a oneway or a diff. Also, what are the part #'s?
Thanks

They are for the one way. I've had the stock out drives wear a groove in them from the bones. The MRX ones are alot beefier.

Default gearing

I just picked up an mtx3 last 2 weeks ago. I ran the stock gearing rations for the standard kit, last week. Not enough for the large track I run at. This week I went to the .08 gears and ran the stock gearing for the prospec. Alot better. Can the car handle a 7 tooth differance in gearing? I was going to try 21/28 and 52/59. Guess I am used to the exceleration of my tc3, so I really do not want to go higher on 1st gear.
I have been driving an ntc3 since the car first came out. In my second time out with the mtx3, I probably was as hooked as I ever felt with the ntc3.

We run 21/27 or 21/28 depending on the grip levels. Car should have no problem if the engine is capable of pulling it.
