Yes it's the bottom of the throttle mount. I can turn the linkage ball but it would need to be an extreme angle. I may need to do what Seisick said and add shims to the engine mount. Or maybe I will just dremel the radio plate...? It would barely be noticable once it's done.
Thanks for the replies guys!

I had same problem with Sirio engine. Best solution was to dremel radio plate. There is enough material and doesn't affect anything on the car.

Thumbs up Dremel !!!

Ah yes! I just dremeled the plate! Easier fix than I thought. I sealed the cut with CA glue and everything is GREAT! Oh yeah, I also had to flip the linkage to under the servo arm instead of over the arm! Works smooth!
Thanks for the replies! I forgot how good this little TR is

I run 42 shore GQ Tires on a treated surface.30,000 rear diff with a one way4mm front ride height, 5mm rear.If you guys want a lot of steering, try the Cadilac body. I had my car set up well with the Alfa , when I switched to the Caddy I had to find more rear traction.

Yup..... I also keep the throttle and braking rods parallel and flat to each other. If slide carburator ( the ball ) hit the graphite upper deck, then you need to dremel the graphite to make some rooms...... if you crash so bad, the upper deck won't hit the slide carburator directly.

I think Mugen designed the layout with Novarossi engine, so other brands need extra attention to make it perfect and safe.

I'm running JP FX 5 and FX 3.
Dodge Stratus and Ellegi Wheels.

I'll give you some pics later.

dremel the radio plate.

don't add shims to engine base because it interups heat transfer from engine block to main chassis.

I have tried the Stratus, it is kinda old school now. I know thats hard to believe, but its kinda out dated now.

Shoot ! I just bought two Stratus 2.1 bodies

Why is it outdated ? Are you talking performance wise ?

I think you would be hard pressed to find the Stratus to be one of the most competitive bodies on the track. The new generation bodies offer more downforce and better steering. Although I hear there is a new Stratus 3.0 body coming out that is supposed to be better. Only problem is it is a 190mm not 200.

I don't mind with dodge stratus body....... I'm gonna race it as long as the body is sleek, slender and the front spoiler is small.

Mazda 6 is good and handsome looking car but the front spoiler is too thick and too forward. It easy to get damage if you hit the curbs too often.

Nemesis is perfect, my first choice. The looks little bit lame though.

Dodge stratus is perfect too, my second choice. The rear wing is smaller than the two.

I noticed in your picture of the car you run purple front springs and white rears, do you have a steering issue?
Try the ( C ) ackerman on the bellcrank, it will give you better corner speed with lots of turn in.

If you can get some GQTires WWW.RCTexas.com
