when i see that car it reminds me of a mugen and a g4 and a 710 combo....

i would love to test one out and see how it fairs at my track...by the way how expensive or inexpensive are the parts etc...????

Anybody try the Kawahara tyres? Are they good? How does it compare to the Mugen Fast tyre?

The Kawahara tires are great! They are long lasting and provide good grip, especially the multi-ringed ones. The wheels a strong too. They are a bit pricey though.

I just bought a new MTX3 and am to the part where you put the clutch together onto the motor. But I noticed that my new OS 12TR R-Spec engine didnt come with the collet that goes on the crankshaft to mount the flywheel. Anyone know where I can purchase a collet or what collet I can use?

thanks

Actually, I think the collet is supposed to be included in the kit. The collet that comes with the TR wont match the flywheel.

Default Collet

Most car kits dont come with this, they come with the engines.

I just tested the collet that came with my REX and the taper matches the one on my spare MTX3 flywheel.
Mugen does have a part # for a collet though (C0702B), but with Mugen's relationship with Novarossi i'm not suprised it has the same taper.

The taper on the collet that comes with the O.S. TR doesn't match the MTX3's flywheel.

I can say that most of the Nitro kits that I had built(RC10GT, XXXNT, 777, NTC3, NRS4) came with collets that specifically fit the kit's flywheel.
