i bought the car used and it used to accelerate very nice. after a while, it accelerated like shit. it would slooooooooooooooooooooowly accel. but once it hits second, it would fly. i always thought it was my tuning skills, but i had others help me out with the same results. i guess i'll change my whole clutch system and see what happens.
i was soooooooooooooo close to selling the car thinking i can't tune for shit and i shouldn't even bother racing... oh well. we'll see.

I have a set on my new car but I havent had a chance to run it yet. So I'm not to sure how they go.

I was told they are easier to adjust.

I got this car second hand and they where on it.

I am a new driver and have just broke my first set of 3racing uni's, i think it was me hitting the boards that did it.

you're not the first one. welcome to 3racing club. although the quality of mugen mtx-3 cvd is not as good as it once was on mtx-2, it's rank among the best of those 3racing, gpm, etc.

Try the R.D Logics, they seem to be tougher than the 3 racing .I think they will run you about, $20.00 per pair.

Yes, you're right Ybakoff. The Serpent ones very easy to adjust externally. Jus pop off the lower ball link, pull out the shaft, rotate until you feel it locking and then its just a matter of feeling the clicks.

Putting a "neutral" shock oil in them ensures that you have the most versatile set-up for most tracks. Its just then a matter of fine tuning by the clicking to different number of holes.

It's the same. They both come from the same factory, just use different name.

The 2-Speed shaft is from SQUARE. The light weight housings on 1st and 2nd are from Team Active. Light weight pulley adapter is from FiveStar. Ventilated Diskbrake is also from Team Active.

On the Clutch, it has the RD Logics light weight flywheel, FiveStars Light Weight Clutchbell, light weight fly-weight, stock centax spring, red clutch shoe, harden steel 1st and 2nd pinions.

that's about it.
