I use the x12 pipe and I must say it's one of the best kept secrets. The OFNA x12 is a clone of the RB x12.. Never had a tuning problem with that pipe.. Temps between 200-220* in SoCal... The power is all over the place with that pipe... I sold my Yok pipe and pretty much trashed my RD Logics turbo 1&2 and REX pipe... The pipe is super durible as well... I've hit things and things have hit my car and not one ding what so ever... Hands down, for the bang for the buck... at 49.00 USD. you can't go wrong. Funny thing is the guys at the track would joke about the pipe and OFNA altogther, sayin that OFNA is a piece of crap... Once they drove my car and seen it run, they thought I had a Nova 5 port in my Mugen... Not... 3-port Top TS3-race and OFNA x12... Using the 60 tooth first gear, the car explodes out of the hole, even using the 59 tooth .08 gearing... I even had to adjust my tranny to only 2 turns out on the adjustment screws... As MCKrooz... He was there... Could it just be the motor??? Maybe, but I tried the RD Logics, the Yok, and the REX... When I switch to the x12, it was night and day... Hey some pipes don't work with every motor... This pipe with a Novarossi based motor is a perfect match.... Slotmachine, not sure what happen to yours... Could have been an air leak, torn exhaust gasket or just bad tuning.. Hey, you guys can use what you like, I'll just keep this my little tuning secret...

It's hard to tell without actually testing it personally. Honestly, I think its the motor. That motor just rips. See ya Sat?

Dude... It must be MCKrooz... Hey, I tried those other pipes on that very same motor... When I switch to the x12, the motor just woke up and bottom end is just crazy... 2 turns out on the tranny and still the car shift to soon... Could it be the mods I made to the sleeve??? Maybe, but I dought it... Could it be a combination of things? Sure... But I believe that pipe is a key part of it and as for being durible.... The OFNA x12 is great...

We gotta get that tranny fixed. We'll adjust it some more this weekend.

Hmmm, maybe I'll meet you. Got nothing to do. I think my tires might be too soft for that track tho. Oh well, just dial out some traction.

what you guys are starting with on overdrve is .960 and then if tires wear to even front and rear you end up with 1.00is that right can you tell me what happens to handling if you go 1.020 or .960 a little confused.iknow might be extreme but need to know what numbers mean does anything above 1.00 overdrive and anything below 1.00 underdrive sorry about lengthy ? but used to running 2wd drive and didn't have to worry about this

thanks

Was running 40 shore monotuning tires all the way around. My car was so good that I could probably have run 42's all the way around but I liked the traction advantage.

Where can I buy the Mugen pipe, part # PO1002? I can't find anyone that sells it and distributors don't seem to have the number. Maybe the Ofna X-12 is a replica?

Can someone post info on where to look at the Team Charge conversion for the laydown servo?

Alan,
Which x12 are you talking about? i think there are two rb x12 versions, i use the first one and prefer it to my rd logics 2 , i dont know why it just seems like it the x12 is a lot easier on fuel consumption.
