You shoulda seen his fuel line! It was seriously about 15" long and the car still couldn't make 5 min. He ran out of gas in both qualifies. It was plenty fast though. Driver skills own.:ha:

The integy tire truer is suppose to be pretty good and decent on the checkbook as well.

eddiethefish 05-17-2004 05:44 PM

Not only that. If you inspect the car closely, you'll be amazed to find out that he also had a reserved fuel tank hidden in it.

I once suggested him to use the waterhose for a fuel-line on his car. Guess he didn't take it, yet implemented my idea, indeed.

cheers,

Why that sneaky %#$&*$%#!

Maybe thats why he keeps it dirty so we can't see the hidden things with the naked eye.

nope. I don't read japanese either. But it doesnt take much reading to get what the thing does.

go to www.altavista.com --> translate. You can copy/paste stuff in.

gentleman81 05-17-2004 06:28 PM

i hope so but i dont know, why do u think the parts are gonna get hard to find or do u think im gonna want a mtx4?

B 05-17-2004 06:31 PM

well, people usually buy new cars when they come out:)
I bet most people on this forum will go and grab the 4 when it does come out!:D Most people still do eventually get the new model...

It depends on you really, but modding the mtx-3 with JDM mods will be quite expensive. A full option JDM car will cost well over the price of the car itself:D

Roger 05-17-2004 06:39 PM

JDM mods  . You whole car is JDM cause its from Japan  . Did you get that LSD for your B18C  . Just playin with ya. I have a EG6 fully loaded with JDM parts.

Pick up the new xtreme rc cars. Robbie and his car is featured in it with information on tuning the MTX-3.

gentleman81 05-17-2004 06:39 PM

yeah and thats money i dont have at the time.

i'll keep my mtx3 for a while, im having a daughter, yeah me!!! :)

so it will last me, besides the guys i run with some run impulses and win so i think if i get my car blinged out i will hunt them down with ease, the only top notch cars out here with me are g4's, and 705's, i think i'll be in good shape for a while.

so should i get all the aluminum parts from 3racing, kfactory, the less expensive brands and get the major parts from the real good brands.

i cant imagine brases, pulleys, and sway bars Etc. making a difference in the durability of your car? besides the weight what is the harm in the less expensive hop ups?

am i wrong,
