Default Conversion 16/19t

How do you guys like the conversion? Did you trim down the front tires? If I don't trim the front tires down 3mm less than the rear's what will happen? I don't have access to a lathe yet.
Thanks.

the sole purpose of using 16/19 and shorter belt conversion is to use smaller tire in front and this result in better and quicker front steering.
the side benefit of it is on the tire wear issue. front Vs rear
This has been discussed several times.

Are you guys running the rear shock spring in the front so that you can set ride height to 5mm when the tires wears?

Mark

Mark,

Use the longer links..the ones used for the tie rod ends. You still have to adjust the shock collar low on the threads, but you can still use the front springs running the conversion.

I use rear springs on the front, they're just a little softer. (than the same color front springs)

The main benefit, and why I like the 16/19 conversion is so that the handling, in a long main, doesn't change from the start to the end. I make up time when everyone else is slowing down, because their rear tires have worn out.
