check your front track width. you should not have problem with dog bone if you keep it within 199mm front and with one o-ring on each oneway outdrives.

the MTX3 kit comes with the plastic parts of a front diff. you might want to get the bevels and acessories to build a front diff

Check that the steering linkage is built correctly. Something might be catching the belt when you turn the steering..

robbie c or anyone else have you installed the universals in mtx-3 yet? i would love to see some pictures if possible

i am concerned about the length of the front universals because the dogbones werent long enough i was thinking about using the rear universals in the front and rear or would i be making a mistake?

also robbie c is there a difference between the front and rear belt? there is different listings for each but i thought they were the same length i guess i should have paid attention while building the car

They fit perfect,no clicking or rubbing when the wheels are turned, sorry I don't have a digital camera.

At least, if it ever POPS, it remains in tact. Don't have to look for it in the track.

You're absolutely right, Robbie. I mean if even the Universal pops, it's gotta be something one does to the car; either bang it hard or something.
