go back to the stock setup and adjust to your liking from there.

I find Kenji Osaka's set up at ft Myers in the Mugen website as a decent one, seems to be not bad for medium sized tracks also.

As for the Centax setting, don't bother to measure how much clearance there is for the Spring Adj Nut Position, what you can try as a base line is to tighten the nut in all the way till its FIRM, then release it about 2 full turns, work from there, beats measuring the clearance.
