Has anyone else been using the Tobe universals?

I need to buy a set before the summer, and honestly don't want to dish out the bucks for the mugen set again, especially when I only need one side. ( cant just replace the bone, I fubar'ed it pretty good.

Just looking for opinions while you guys are talking about it, the summer is quite a ways away.

Default tire size

I have just switch from a NTC-3 to the MTX-3 and Iíll be racing for the car for the first time this Sunday (hopefully the weather will hold!). My question is what kind of split between the front and rear tires are those of you who run foam tires using? Iím running Mugen Fast Tires and will start with the stock 37 shore tires front and rear. My 4wd Serpent likes a 4 to 4.5mm split, front to rear. Any suggestions for the Mugen?

I use Tobee craft universals. They are at least as durable as the Mugen's, especially for the money.

You can just replace the arm, don't have to buy the whole new set. They come 2 in a package.

Mugen H0769
I haven't felt the need to replace it. It's still engaging well and snaps off the line. Pretty durable shoe.

Just run the same size tire front & rear, if you run into a loose condition you cant seem to fix with set up ,then try a larger front tire to help pull the car out of the corners.

Default Kawahara Clutch Shoes

Pepe,

You can contact RC Imports in San Jose. They are the Kawahara importer and should be able to help you find the proper clutch shoes. The number is 408.365.1000.
