I read about a "Saarinen edition" being composed by mid-mugen in Germany. The kit contains "useful" options like 4mm chassis, fr cvd, and a extra anti-roll bar (2.5mm?). A body and "the new Mugen engine", with a polished in-line pipe set and "air-booster" is also included. I might be wrong about this though...

The new edition might be the same kit, excluding engine, exhaust-system, etc...

it could be coz I am living in Asia. Stuff from Asia is pretty much cheaper than stuff from other parts of the world. Also parts break or wear out fast so I have to replace them frequently esp. the steering hubs, pivot balls, arms and gearbox but I am still keeping it as the car is easy to drive and setup.

Yo! you still running your TC3? I am still rebuilding my MTX3 and I find the plastic parts of the MTX3 to be much stronger than the TC3. I particularly like the adjusting nut on the steering hub. I have shimed my steering hub of my TC3 till I ran out of shims of that size!. Maybe the new kfactory hubs will do justice.

Yeah in Malaysia the NTC3 parts are not that much more expensive but then need to constantly change bits makes it expensive to maintain. That's about it I guess. The MTX3 is more to my liking than the NTC3, I prefer the MTX3 a lot more.

I find it exp. coz for NTC3 arms you need to buy the upper and lower in a pack but for MTX3 you can either buy the upper or lower arm. Also pivot balls for NTC3 comes in a pack of 4. The front roll bar for the NTC3 cost a bomb!.

The limited edition mtx3 has....
1)4mm chassis
2)4mm engine mount
3)pair CVD in front

only about $30 more than the STD edition.

I don't think it's limited edition.It's PLUS+ edition.Get it?
we are quite happy with MTX3 whatever version as long as it is not MTX3R or MTX3R01 etc etc

Any one got a setup using rubber tyres and solid front diff? Or ideas on what it should be?

The reason Mugen is doing this is to clear stock! That's why they do it ... many have done it before.

For rubbers usually its about all the same but your camber is only 1 degree front and 2 degrees back. I think try to keep the back droop less so there is less weight transferred to the front upon braking. You will slide less.

With rubbers you can set your down stop too ...
