your avatar shows a NTC3, so why are you changing to MTX3? I just move over to MTX3 too from NTC3. Yet to run the car. Got it second hand and now rebuilding the car. For me I find maintaining the NTC3 is getting expensive for me so I decided to try MTX3 as the parts are cheaper and feels stronger.

Get the Kawahara ones. Those spaces aren't used for normal sedan tires. I had the sato ones and they have rounder edges compare with teh Kawahara and after a while and after a long main it'll start to slip a little. The kawahara ones have very sharp edges...so they are better. Very slight difference though.

Ntc3 parts are more expensive vs. the mtx-3? Must be your LHS. I find the MTX-3 spares more expensive. I too switched from NTC3 . I like the tunability and durability of the Mtx-3. However, I find myself liking the handling of the ntc3 better. It's a little more aggressive and responsive. It's a fast car (ntc3) that's why you see it still hold it's own in big races but it's just too fragile.

yes i just got the mtx3
i am keeping a ntc3 (easy car to maintain)
i have started running at a much larger track than what
i was previously running , and my ntc3 has an os tr which
seems to be a good set up for a smaller track, but the mtx3 seems like a really great big track car. I was thinking of just getting a better (more rpms) motor for my ntc3 and a one-way up front but figured if i could find the mtx3 with the mr12 i would give it a try
(i've been eyeing the car for a little while so)
all this swithing around and hoping to improve my driving/lap times, i know that in the end it is me that needs to improve (it is this process of improving that i find to be the fun part of the hobby) , i am in no way saying it is the car , cause i have noticed that the guys that are fast would be fast no matter what car they have.

Sometime ago was rumored a hopped up version of the MTX3. After the success of the car, was logical that Mugen release a car with all the hop-ups like did with the MRX3. May we need to ask to Manti if Mugen contacted it for making a MTX3 Manticore version.

Just itching to see what Mugen has prepared us on the 1Q2004 with the MRX car.... meanwhile, will keep mine MRX3 and MTX3.

It seems that I really live in the R/C paradise.....

The limited edition mtx3 has....
1)4mm chassis
2)4mm engine mount
3)pair CVD in front

only about $30 more than the STD edition.

I don't think it's limited edition.It's PLUS+ edition.Get it?

I think all of our cars have surpassed the limited edition in terms of mods already...hehe...
