Has anyone here ever ran 35 mm wide rear tires on the mtx-3? I know how Ah10 feels about this issue.. ..but I'm just curious . My local club runs 1/10th scale outlaws. So i'm going to run lola on my mtx-3. I also see some 35mm available on ashford hobby: www.ashfordhobby.com/prod415.htm

Look at the Techno Grip foams. They have 35mm rears and 28/30 mm fronts. I called them up and they didn't know the offsets on these puppies but they did say that there have been mtx-3 customers that ran them. Anyone has tried these?

I would imagine with 35mm rears you probably could get the mtx3 to perform even closer to a 1/8th scale mrx3. If anything it'd be cool to just experiment..hehe..

Just got 2 of them. Basically, bought them for my MRX-3, but I've heard it will help some on the MTX-3. So, I'm going to try the spare cap on the MTX-3.

I put that cap in my MTX-3. No particualr reason, just had it laying around when I built the car. I can't tell if it is doing anything because the stock cap was never in the car.
