No, Mugen 4mm Chassis with Kawahara engine mount but for MTX2, so was 4mm screw.

The latest Kawahara MTX2 engine mount already has low CG, (same height as MTX3 one), use with 4mm titanium screw & Serpent washer.

Default Multiple MTX3 questions

What gearing will I need for a large track, the only gears I have are what comes in the kit and one track I race at is so big you dont need brakes. What shore are the tires that come stock? Will the Jaco Nitro Shoes with 0 degree work on the rear or will I need an adapter? I am going to run a solid axle/spool up front for a small track...any suggestions on what to do for the rear as far as heavier oils and any setup changes. If these questions are lame I apologize...I run an Associated and am clueless to this car.

are you running 0.8 module or 1.0?

I would go for Mugen Fast tire period! because they work really good on mtx3

How could I tell the difference between the .8 or 1.0 . Do they give you an option with the kit?

the .8 modules just came out awaile back ago. Using the .8 gears will give you a broader line of gear ratios to work with. For example: In electric, its like using 64 pitch gears compared to 48 pitch gears. For me, when I first started using the .8 gears, the first thing I notice was the transition from 1st to second 2 gears was very smooth. Basically, the car felt smooth throughout the whole power band. Give them a try. You might like them.

But...if I use it I can't use the stock bars...I'll have to get different bars...just wondering if you guys have tested different ones?! LMK...Thx.!

Gary:

Stick to the stock rear bars. The one that comes with the kit is 2.3mm while the silver rear bar is 2.5mm. I've had people try the 3 piece rear sway bar, but they went back in using the stock mugen sway bar.
