There are ALSO 2 other guys here running the MTX-3 (both running analog throttle/ digital steering) with the 730 Mugen pack. They get about the same run time I do. I suppose we're all idiots?? Personally, I think it's the cells that Mugen uses. Use the highest on mine MRX3 and use the second on the MTX3, have the same combo on all cars. Futaba 9450 on Steering and 9402 on throttle. Saw many guys using KO FET & HiTec servos blaming about pack runtime with the AAA cells, probably this is your problem. |
Corse,
I run Hitec 5925 and 525 BB in mine and don't have any problems. I think most people don't simply get them charged completely. |

How to remove pinions from clutch bell?
Has anyone found a good way (or tool) to remove the pinions from the clutch bell, I have now ruined two bells trying to get the second gear off.

Mugen makes a tool exactly for this purpose. It's definitely the safest way to remove stubborn pinion gears. Price is about $30.

bo513, also Delta manufac makes a nice one that does 3 things, takes pinions off the bell and loosens or tightens clutch spring, and sets spring measurement...
