I"m assuming all of you folks are mtx3 owners. How do you like it? I've heard mixed reviews about the car. On nitroreview.com and from others saying that it breaks easy. Doesn't handle well...

Can I get some opinion on that here? How does it compare to other cars you've driven. I"ve got a NTC3....

I'd appreciate some honest opinions....I know mugen is a good company and that mtx2 is a good car. Thx.

Gary
I owned both cars............I still have the MTX-3(two of 'em ).

IMO, the MTX-3 has a bigger sweet-spot as far as handling goes. It also has more tuning options for different tracks and conditions.

I also don't have to go through the car after every run to check for loose screws and cracked parts like I did with the NTC3.

Nice track. Track looks really tight. Get rid of that understeer and your car will be dialed

Yha...I feel understeer myself..during the main. Because, we run the main really late...6:15PM or so.. and the sun was gone. The track got cooler. But during the qualify .....I move my front shock..up one hole...and seem to work ok.. I shold have move it back. Oh..well... this weekend I will lay it donw back to stock setup.

Yha..the track look kind a tight....This is a new layout for this month raceing. I think they will make it wider for this weekend.

Check it out...WNYRCINFO website. This is the site for my local track! We just start this parking lot racing this year. The guys at wnyrcinfo did very good job of hold it together!! We hope to see it get bigger next year!

21/26 with 57/53 spurs are a start...I've been going up a tooth (22/27) with tires under 60mm. It always depends on your motor though...

Default Kawahara negative differential

Has anyone tried this yet? It uses the standard spider gears, but has a separate section with 2 shoes that supposively will lock the diff on straight a ways or higher speeds.
