yes both versions of the car comes with a clutch

receiver packs are cheap, you can even make your own with 5 AAA cells
A pull start engine will not fit on the MTX-3.

Forums are great, but they also create a new level of lazyness. It's awesome to ask around for pricing, help, new products, stuff like that, but at the same time, don't always rely on others to do it for you. Look around, do some research, find what you think is the best price, then ask if anyone can beat it

jmho..

Yup! People helping people is the basis of this forum but you have to help yourself first before you ask for help. Does that help?

Depending on your track, but for me a good starting point is 21/26 on 59/53 or 60/54 spurs (take care, isn't a such open gearing as seems, shifting into second is strong as a rock with lots of zoom).

To me, I'd just start from what is my current ratio.
17/47, 22/42: 6.985, 4.823

I'll then use:
21/58, 27/52: 6.977, 4.865

Notice that I did not opt for the 28/54 which yields 4.872, since 54 will not be useful when I want to tall the gear later in the future.

$0.02

Hi:

Question to eddiethefish

I lost the brake pins same as you did. They do not have part number. I assume they come in combination with other parts. I lost a horizontal pin and a vertical pin. How did you do to get them?

Thanks
Jose

make sure your brake pads move freely on the pins. the blinding pads will pull the pin out everytime you apply brake.
