I am thinking of picking up a MTX-3. This would be my first Nitro car and I want something competitive. How is the MTX-3 performing against the other cars out there? I would consisder a NTC3, but it seems everybody has one and I am not really fond of the shaft drive. That being said I think it is a great car, just doesn't interest me. What is a fair price for a stock used MTX-3?

Thanks in advance!

I found a pin-hole in my tank today.

No-wonder my gas milage sucked last race.

Default Mugen Fast Tire Q??

Whats up all,
This may sound dumb but I'm playing around and trying some stuff. Will the 26mm Mugen Fast tires said to be specifically for the front of the MTX-3 be OK if I mounted them on the back. I've done a dry run (no motor, just mount) with them on but I'm kinda wary of running with them til someone who knows better than I, will tell me it's OK. I want to try running the car just 26mm all the way around and have lots of sets of fronts to use for the experiment. Can I throw those on the back??? KEVIN

26mm fronts and 30mm rears have a different rubber content. The front will have more rubber and the rears will have less, but more foam ( for traction purposes ). If you want to run a 26mm tire all the way around, then try proline jaco tires. These tires come in 24mm and 28mm applications. Don't get these tires mixed up with the Jaco nitro shoes as the nitro shoes use a shore rating while the proline jaco uses a color system (i.e. purple, double purple, pink, blue, white, orange/purple, etc.... ) Goodluck

Huh! haven't broken one yet.... wack mine car very few times, but the last time needed to change the chasis and radio plate (radio runout with horrendous crash at the end of backstraight).

Hummmmm.... Have anyone noticed that when your car goes out of radio, runs faster and accelerates more than when it was under radio control?

Yep, but main problem is convince the car to get under radio control before the end of backstraight.
