363mm belts (calling to all who PM'ed about them)

Got here quite large pack of 363mm belts for all who requested me some units (please check your PM to see if you received mine message, some can be slipped).

The definitive belts that I've ordered were made on 4mm width (tried some variations like 3 and 5mm widths but weren't satisfactory). Price of each belt is 4.55Euros (is what they charged me for each belt, don't make profit with this).

For directions about this belt, check the previous messages on this thread (remember 16T rear center pulley, 19T front center pulley and 3 to 3.5mm leap on the diameter of the tyres - fronts are smaller ones). :D

Are there any pics of these belts, maybe one with a comparison to the original and another with it installed.

3 or 5 port?

JustRC

Ok.

Tried those engine with an 'old' Novarossi In-Line pipe (Model 52604) and engine was better than the old 3port S3 engine got more launch from medium to high rpms.

Today tried the NS12 with a newer 'In-Line' model from Novarossi (Model 51224 - sorry don't have the box here and cannot assure the model No.). Engine was much much better, got a solid grunt from low rpms and high speed was slightly improved (engine sound changed, but is wickening).

Main differences on the engine are on the front bearing (different), crankshaft (larger on diameter and intake crank window is quite different much similar to .21 sized ones). Carburetor is different, now goes with carb restrictors (like RB 'Rody' models) without carb restrictor is a 7mm throat.

Mine unit as the same that came to mine country, go with the taller heatsink (11 cooling fins rather the 9 fins on the stock head).

Exhaust is similarly shaped like the In-Line model, but the manifold is different and the throat of the exhaust is larger (silicone o-ring is different, so pay attention to this, older silicone couplings doesn't fit, are too small).

Will try to post some photos when I recover mine digi camera (engine and pipes).

BTW: Mine engine is a 3port, but a 5 port is available when Trinity should bother importing to U.S.

Will post some photos when I get another time mine digi camera (probably on two or three days). Today ended testing them and found very comfortable with them, laptimes didn't improved due a dusty track and some agonizing 43ºC air temp that suffered today at the track (track temp went up to 67ºC, measured on mine temp gun) :weird: I chickened with the engine and didn't let reach more than 115ºC (too hot and too dry, bad for the engine).

Ever said that following setup sheets from another driver is a two edge razor (But I reckon that I check some of those).

Robbie, continue showing us forthcoming products from Mugen is a funny way of shocking HS guys asking weird part numbers and telling them what are those strange part nos.

BTW: Asked here for those part nos, as usual, importer don't knows anything about those part nos and told me that they don't exist, anyway... I'll wait for those parts at the other shore of the pond.

It's just my observation that quite a few people are ready to jump at other people for small mis-understandings.

If everyone slowed down, took a quick breather before posting, maybe it would lighten the mood?

There is TONS of good information in this thread, with a little cut-throat style arguements mixed in here and there. ;)

I read more than I post on this thread, what I really like about this thread is all of the cool pics and the information thats past to one driver to another.

They will NOT give you any real information...

Robbie, it gets pretty HOT in here from time to time. But its usually caused by people who assume too much. You need to be in this thread whenever you get the opportunity.
