For most these type of engines are not worth the money. In order to realy utalize the extra power every thing must be perfect including proper clutch adjustment, pipe length and needle settings. If any of these are off or if your set up is off these type of engines only make your problems worse.

If I find some time in the next couple of days I will try to take some pictures of the M. Collari modified Sirio .12 for you guys and post them here. Really nice engines, all hand done not mass produced modifieds like JP, RB & NovaMega .
That would be cool if you could put up some of those collari pics and any larger nova max pics you have, thanks.Have you actually run the modded sirio,if so what's your impressions and opinions of the performance?

We tried them for the first time at the Speedline race in Vegas in April. Was impressed, very, very fast!

Default Wheels rubbing

Should I be sanding some material off of my front and rear uprights? I'm seeing some rubbing on the insides of my wheels. I'm using the Mugen Fast Foams with the correct offset and still seeing rubbing. My only fear in just doing it is will I be weakening the part or should I just sand away?? Any input is much appreciated!!!

You need to focus brother.

Did you get the engine in Australia or OS,and also do you know who is the aussie importer of sirio engines?

TSR6 thanks, I got a friend of mine to do it for me as a .gif

Attached is the Over Drive Ratio Chart for the 16/19 ratio. To mantify it just round to the nearest whole number basicly 1. Not sure how much help it will be for you then as the whole chart will be 1's but at least you won't get bashed if you talk about it on the thread

Default Overdrive

PMT, now you made me curious with your chart.

I was under the impression that if you run same tire size with stock pulleys that you'd have no over/underdrive.
According to your chart, a 60 mm front and 63.5 mm rear tire give you 1.000, which I supposed is neutral.

That means the car has underdrive built into it to start with, correct?

How does the handling change in theory when you go above or below 1.000.
I've asked numerous people about these ratios, but nobody ever could give me an explanation that made sense, or it was totally contrdicting what another person told me before

So, help me out here and pleaqse make it plain and simple

Thanks

However I think that I understand why, looks like you provide cheap parts from HK for them.

RClover thanks for starting the new thread. Please fee free to use it.

no problem!

who is arrogant here? who brought up the 'big' events in his last post?
well, perhaps you hate 'alum. parts' (all snakers behave like this)so you feel a little uncomfortable about cheap parts from HK.. i can understand that, but that's not your business! we can affort and its our money!
