PMT - I for one am glad to have you on here.

Manticore and PMT - I hope you two learn to either get along, or ignore each other, for the sake of this thread.

There is another solution, but I hope it it can be resolved other ways..

I have posted 2 overdrive ration charts below to illustrate the differences & reasoning behind calculating things down to 3 places behind the decimal point (.001). The second is rounded for my special friend

I think a better comparison would be against a Rody since it's a Nova-based mod engine. Plus their prices are very similiar, Very high

I have not tried the .12's so I can not comment on this but with the .21's they are ok. Performance is roughly equal to the M. Collari Modified Sirio engines that we have been using for the last couple of months. About equal to what you would expect from any top of the line mod engine i.e. JP, Collari Sirio,RB Rody, NovaMax etc. The power band on most of these engines are fairly similar and the differences in performance are small. For most these type of engines are not worth the money. In order to realy utalize the extra power every thing must be perfect including proper clutch adjustment, pipe length and needle settings. If any of these are off or if your set up is off these type of engines only make your problems worse.

If I find some time in the next couple of days I will try to take some pictures of the M. Collari modified Sirio .12 for you guys and post them here. Really nice engines, all hand done not mass produced modifieds like JP, RB & NovaMega .

I'm at a loss but if any of you guys know how to turn and excell spread sheet into something that can be posted on this forum i.e. giff or whatever please let me know and I will e-mail the MTX-3 overdrive ratio chart to you to convert.

TBR, what kind of hat do you wear?
