Yes, the Serpent one is longer. It should fit. It is 1.66mm longer than the Mugen one. All flats for the set screw match up.

shooter has hollow mid and main steel shaft for MTX3 and they are not expensive !

i talk to a friend of mine at the machine shop (YES i'm putting a SERPENT hollow mid shaft and hollow 2speed shaft on my mtx3) but he need to custom the 2speed shaft re hole and re grind the flat spot now i lowered some more rotating mass off my car

and i put the lightweight axle for the oneway too (all serpent part) but i dont run oneway

is anyones mtx-3 really tight when i roll the wheels it is just really tight what sould i do also i have not run it yet

Check your brake pads if you didn't sand them down generously. Just run the car because everything is still tight ( belts, pads, etc...). My car was the same, but after a few runs, it will feel smoother.

Default gear module 0.8 vs 1.0

can onyone tell me the difference between 0.8 vs 1.0 gear module ? why they have 2 module ? any insight you have will be appreciated. thanks

the 0.8 version has finer pitch which is supposed to provide smooth acceleration but you are risking gear stripping with those high power motors.

unless you are a VERY serious racer and you are looking for lower gear ratio, I would stay with the 1.0 version
