Got a question. Just put my car together and ran it for the first time on my driveway. I noticed that when I hit 1/8 throttle, the engine revs, but the car doesn't move. It'll start moving when I hit 1/4 throttle. Should I loosen the clutch or tighten ?? Thanks gang.

I believe you loosen the clutch because your engine is engaging to late.....be careful with it engaging to late because thats how you burn up those weird looking bearings......(having a brain spasm....forget what they're called) anyways, good luck, and if that doesnt help, the manual does a pretty good job and if you go back like a billion pages, when i was having trouble with my clutch everyone helped me out very spicifically so you could check there also

I'm pretty sure:

Make sure the clutch bell is shimmed properly per the instructions. If so, then you can begin loosening your clutch for quicker engagement.

Default Servo Horn Included

Just a quick question?

Is the servo horn included in the kit or do I have to buy one. Couldn't find it in my kit?

Thanks

You'll have to buy one separately. It's nice if you get ones that have multiple mounting positions incase you need to alter the amount of servo throw in relation to wheel/trigger movement.

Default mtx-3 kicking arses

mtx-3 are spreading like wildfire down here and kicking some major butt at the track too. One very good driver I know picked up 2 laps on his NTC3 FIRST TIME OUT with the car. Went from mid-pack A to TQ'ing and kicking everyone's butt - bone stock setup. This car is for real!

Team Mugen takes it again at Las Vegas. Robbie Collins and his MTX-3 won nitro sedan. I wonder how many mugen cars were in the A-main ? Anybody ?

Congratulations Robbie. ( Hey Robbie, if your reading this, watch out for the blair witch. Remember ? )

Default Spanish nats. (2nd round). Arenales del sol track.

Well, this time couldn't be the same as the first round of the nats, where 2 Mugen were at 1st and 2nd position (an NTC3 was at the 3rd), Held at Lerida (Catalonia).

Yesterday the podium were quite different, but the most shocking was at the minute 27 where an MTX3 was at first position needed to retire with the two rear bulkeads broken at the same place (at the bulb). Final podium was formed by Serpent 705 at the 1st and 3rd position and one MTX3 at the 2nd place (after all isn't at all bad - 2 rounds, two times an MTX is at the podium).

BTW: The guy that retired at minute 27 was the same that won the first round of our nationals. He's a privateer and if he won the second round, the sky for sure that rumbled.

Third round is the next month. We'll see how evolves. Will try to find and post photos of our nationals.

I've had a terrible weekend. Got difficulties to setup the car for those bumpy and slippery track (we used 64mm of diameter tyres and discarded at 62mm), on a terrible smack warped the chassis and without spares got a faulty handling.

Why were you guys discarding at such a large diameter. Were you finding the car works much better on full-size tires?
