Naaah! the 235 model is the EFRA version of the 'monster 215'. Is slightly less powerful. Best way to go is put into a 215 model a conical plug head and fasten your pants.

The way of being of the 235 model if your local rules specify the 'No chamfer should protrude into the crank channel.

Default Dogbone problem

Guys,
while looking at my car yesterday and trying to figure out why it has this dogbone/universal problem, I had an idea.

The car has a lot of ackerman when using the "A" steering arm on the servo saver.
When you steer to one side all the way, the inside wheel reaches a very extreme angle. If you now try to bend that wheel further (i.e. when you hit a wall or pipe) it snaps all the way in, completely exposing the dogbone or bending the universal.

I think the car needs some sort of limiter to avoid this, and the bones wil stay in.
Any thoughts or comments?

Yeah, but maybe it does this to have it "give" a little when contact is made.....id rather loose a dogbone than an entire front suspension assembly!

the kawahara chassis looks weak but why you need a 4mm chassis?

the mugen chassis has both strength and lightweight function.

Default Dogbone

I saw a tip on Nitro that if you put a small piece of fuel tubing in both side, it'll limit the travel of the dogbone and it won't pop out.

I have the thread on my pivot ball to go in 1mm and no problem with it poping out.so far....

Default Driving my MTX-3 in the rain!!

Wrapped the receiver in a balloon and gave the car a liberal coat of WD-40 and put some treaded rubber on it! didn't stick for nothing, but the guys who were hanging out at the state series race were cheering me on!
