Hi Guys,

I had the same problem with the leaking front diff. The design is not very good.

The cover is extremly thin, especially the countersunk screwholes. This means you can't put alot of pressure on the gasket as you will pull the screws through the cover. I did this after I noticed a leak!!

A small bead of silicon sealer is absolutely necessary, its just not a very good design!!

All the best

so I must've missed it earlier. the mtx-2 dogbones are the right size that will stay in the mtx3 without falling out?

Yep

The MTX 2 bones will fit up front. They are slightly longer than the 3's so they also fall out less

Default Fuel leakage

What could be the better solution to stop fuel from leaking all over the crankcase? what's the better sealer and where to seal?

replace the front bearing. that is the most likely problem with fuel leaking from an engine.

that is your best bet.

Hey Kevin it was Robbie, Pepe and I think Tennesse (Pepe TQ) for the top 3! I finally ran my MTX 3 yesterday and the car was not that bad for the first time out. Robbie gave me a hand with set-up couldn't fiqure out the front droop/sway-bar setting. Thanx Robbie for the help! I myself qualified 11th over all and finished 3rd in the B-main (need mo' motor). Will you be racing the AIRTRONICS race?

Yeah I'll be there Carl. I'll be doing 1/8th scale and pan car though. I'll probably be at Rev. next weekend though, working on the MTX. Hey, 11th overall qualifier ain't bad for the first time with the car, especially with that crowd.

will check that out...but it looks more like a carb leaking problem where most of the fuel gathered around the carb joint area...
