Jordan C: I don't own a mugen car so I don't know! Robbie Is a real good friend of mine. I do remember the rear diff is alot more narrower, the rear hubs are new, new centax (smaller), new 2speed gears and housing, servo is mounted on the right instead the top. I don't think any of the parts are interchangeable! Looks like it's a totally redesigned car.

judging from mugens other cars this car will be good the
best example is the mtx2 wich was so much better than other
cars when it was released and is still competitive up to
now.

Youre quite right. The Australian titles were on a couple of weeks ago, and 6 MTX2's qualified in the A main. 2 Vone RR's and a Serpant! Go the Mugen's

Anyone got the specs yet on the Mugen MR-12 engine thats being packaged with alot of the MTX-3 kits?

Turbo/Non-Turbo?
Ports?
Horsepower?

I've been told its basically a Novarossi S3 engine (and has Mugen engraved on its head)

Thanks

Haven't decided what to get next. But yea, if I sell my V1RR, MTX-3 will be a good choice.

U think the MTX-3 will be significantly better? I think the V1RR is a great car and I have a feeling that everyone is gonna jump on the MTX-3 bandwagon and I've always been the type to go with the less popular choices , so I decided to go with the V1RR and will stick to it. But if you sell ur V1RR and get a Mugen, good luck. I'm sure it will be a very nice car.

I think it won't be significantly better. I am just curious to try out new things. Also we get better spare parts support on Mugen here

Don't know bout that.... I have a feeling we are looking at a real innovation in touring cars with the MTX3.... There are a hell of a lot of improvements over the MTX2, and the current car is still competitive with the VoneRR!!!!! Me thinks the MTX3 will kick K's ass.

Quote from Mugen Driver Robbie Collins :

I ran the MTX-3 today for the first time, works great I ran the car box
stock no extras. I did try the new stratus body today good stearing
good traction and very stable.

Things that I noticed about the MTX-3
very stable
good corner speed
more stearing
faster transsition from rigth to left
more bottom end
top end seems the same
the brakes are more consitant
good traction
Acceleration is better
The clutch hits harder and this was with a stock clutch
The shift points are moore consistant.
Overal this car takes less effort to drive, it almost drives itself.
