Honestly... spend the extra 30 or extra 40 on ebay and get a Futaba 3PM or KO Mars EX-1. That radio does not have any of the features these radios have like: End Point Adjustment and Exponential Rate. But to answer your question, you can use any servos with that.

Default One way or diff?

Thank you Riketsu, I think I will revert to the one ways. The soft spring is a good idea instead of fuel tube. Our track has 2 hairpin corners, where braking is obviously helpful. A friend has a diff, and I will give that a try before settling on the one ways. It goes without saying that the brakes are useful in helping to transfer weigth onto the front tyres. I guess its all about finding the righht compromise

Default What oil should put in the front diff?

Hey Riketsu,
What oil do you run in your front diff, please. I imagine it needs to be light, but I really don't have a clue!! The track is probably best described as mid size with one sweeper at the end of the straight, 2 hairpins, 1 chicane and several 90°corners.
Here is a link to it:

Any suggestions would be welcombed,
Nick Marson

I would use the one that came with the radio for throttle.. and if your on a budget than I would go with the futaba s3305.. plenty of torque and speed along with metal gears for $35..

but you can use just about any servo that has a futaba plug..

some people mismatch servos and recievers like a hitec servo with a futaba reciever and never have problems with glitching.... I prefer to keep everything the same.

Default Servo mmixing

There is no problem at all in mixing servos with different brands of radio. The early Airtronics/Sanwa had a problem in that the positive and negative leads were reversed, but their products of today conform to the same wiring configuration as everyone else.

Default sluggish 1st speed

hi guys...it seems that my 1st speed is rather "slow" compared to previous..but when the 2nd speed shifted it shoots like a rocket....i will be doing some readjustment to find the problem this weekend...

just for info i' am thinking off looking into the matter below if would solve the problem:
1. leaning the bottom needle
2.clutch setting readjustment
3. adjusting the 2speed shifter
4. maybe the oneway bearing on the 1st speed has worn out...

..anyway i would like some feedback from u guys regarding this matter..just to narrow down the problem ...thanks
