Thanks guys for the help, I will look into it. I hear running a one piece is better becuz it's easier to line the mesh up.. Dunno how true that is but i will try it and see for myself.

This thread has been pretty quiet lately. Understandably so since the MTX-4 is out and going strong. I am heading to Florida Friday for my Winternats warm up in Ft Myers. My stuff is shipped and on the the way to the hotel. I decided to go that route instead of dragging it to the airport. I am going to run the MTX-3 Prospec. I just haven't had enough time with the X4 (and enough spares) to compete properly with it. My ProSpec is good so I feel pretty good about it. I will be pitting next to my rental SUV so stop by and chat.

Nah.. just a little quite during the "off-season" which is only 1 month here in Texas! Also started racing MRX-4 so now I have to time-share! My MTX-3 is all cleaned up for the first race and I picked up a lot of spare parts to keep it running!

Default Where we are...

Nope, many MTX3 owners will stay fidel to our car, in fact, mine is still in racing condition, but got an MTX4 just because isn't good to be alone. Now... meanwhile comes better weather here, they rest and some weekends go to the track just for warming a little and do some practice.

The same goes for mine MRX3. Plan to get a MRX4.

I plan on runnin' mine till the MTX-4 Prospec is released. The prospecs seem to be better buys. Our off season is about 6 months , no wonder the guys from Texas are so fast. Only a 1 month break would be sweet.

hahahahaha.........I will be running my X3 prospec for quite some time before I upgrade to an X4, my hand/finger to eye coordination still needs a lot of fine tuning

I recently replaced the front and rear shock tower to a thicker item and found that the rear damper's cap is rubbing on the tower, I guess I just need to shim the dampers 3mm away at the top and bottom.

Anyone experience this also?

the thicker towers should have shims provided when you buy them, like those by 3racing. the shims which are about 2 or 3mm line up the shocks perfectly.

The red shoe is the softest and is suited to high traction conditions. These conditions also good for a hard spring.
