Another car perhaps? I think I'll just move on like the rest to MTX4.

It's one of those marketing strategies to move their new product by burrying the older one.

I have never seen one, when you use a one piece mount the engine generally sits higher effecting your centre of gravity which is what you don't want. k Factory and 3 racing make some pretty good aftermarket mounts.

thanks, I just built this car and also wondering if I should run it with the front locked or rear locked.. Are the alum pulleys a good investment?

You could try locking the front, it might work on your track but generally if it is an open flowing type circuit then the one way front is generally fastest. Leave the rear as a diff otherwise you will find you will have massive understeer and won't be able to turn the car in. With regards to the pulleys I have tried several different brands and found the kawahara to be the best but they are expensive. K factory would be the next best and cheaper than kawahara. 3 racing and GPM aren't bad but seem to be softer and wear out quicker especially on dirty or car park tracks.

if you have the prospec 3, the onepiece will not work. i have tried. but for the stock chassis, it's ok.

the prospec chassis is 4mm but milled in the areas where components sit to make everything sit 3mm like stock which was great because you don't higher the center of gravity even with the thicker chassis.

the part where the engine mounts sit is milled separately and that part is not flat. so the onepiece will not work. when i tried to install one though, it looks like it can be worked out with some modifying of the onepiece engine mount. but i decided to just stay with the stock mounts that came with the prospec kit.
