It is possible to see the performances, this type of CONICAL

5 fins manifold - short type (best solution on long straights)

6 fins manifold - medium type (suggested to have more push exiting curves and on the straight)

7 fins manifold - long type (more power exiting curves)

maybe in a while but not too soon. but even if they do stop making parts for the mtx-3, stores around the globe has them in stock and will be around for a while. heck, some stores still have mtx-2 parts!!

I'm glad I had enough time and commitment to rebuild my MTX3 today
The works involed cleaning & lubricating all bearings, cleaning all bulkheads (the dirt look digusting), replace all plastic connectors and some damage parts, and finally setting up the car again.

I'm very satisfied today..... OMG, I'm so tired....... zzzzz

I spoke to a certain Southern California Mugen sponsered driver last week about mtx-3 parts availability and he said since the chassis is still very competitive, Mugen will probably continue making parts for a few years.

Don't know the actual number of teeth on the pulleys, the parts list and manual doesn't even tell you. Maybe it's because there is only one available, who knows. But attached is the list if it helps.
