Default ProSpec

Jo G- Thanks for posting that list. I did the budget racer thing and bought TWO "Prospecs" off of people on this site. Both were upgraded 3s and were lacking many parts on your list. I still feel that the chassis was heads above my previous model. A MTX3 will be competitive in the right hands no matter how many upgrades you put on it.
T2525- Unis would be the 1st thing I would do. They're a durability issue. After that, It's slight tweaks here and there for performance increases..imo. Do what your budget allows.

that's true...
i just posted everything included in the prospec for whoever needs it for reference.
although i gotta say that the prospec is more superior than the stock. i used to drive the stock one, and there's nothing bad about it. it's just that, the prospec squeezed more juice out of the already good car.
now i can't wait to have the 4.....

universals, hex wheel hubs, new style fuel tank. thats it. until u start to drive it you dont know whether u need the stiffer springs and sway bar yet. i went and bought the pro spec stuff and dont use it because my setup works better with the softer suspension. get the uni's they are a must!!!

will the side belt conversion help with the rear end spinning out in the corners if you run on a slick track. the stock setup overdrives the rear or front tires?

I ran at SnJ this past Sunday. I was running 50,000 rear diff 35 fronts and 42 rears with no rear traction problems. I think maybe your clutch is hiting too hard! Jack couldnt believe it! His car was a little loose also, maybe I`m just smoooooth on the throttle?

Try cutting 1.5 deg. to 2.0 deg. of camber in the rear tires, also use 3 deg to 3.5 deg. of camber on the gauge.
