i'm using .8 gears since released and had no problem. But my friend had some experience that is when he used the larger 1st gear and the smaller 2nd gear ( 1st gear 22/60 2nd gear 52/29 ) . It is because when 1st gear mesh well but the 2nd gear only half mesh. So when the 1st goto 2nd, the engine power make it strip. Think can help you.

The reason that mesh is only half is because he should use a 53 spur with that setup. Then the mesh would be better.

For the next mtx3 overhaul, I'm gonna use MTX4 front & rear suspension arms. What do you think ?

I don't know if they fit or not because I haven't try it. I want to get wider stance of course. Traction roll problem because I don't have tire shaver.

The Mtx 4 rear lower arms are 5.5mm. longer, they wont work on the mtx 3

Default Upgrading MTX-3

I have a stock MTX-3 and wondering what upgrades people suggest? I really don't want to get an MTX-4....maybe just a few well placed upgrades. Universals? Thanks.
