I picked up a MTX-3 Prospec to play with and I have quick question. Are you supposed to use the rubber ears that come with the servos on the steering and thottle servos in this car. I can't quite tell from the directions.

I've tried it both ways...ahhhhh, what?

No really. It worked either way. Depending on the servo and servo horn combination, it may work or it may cause the horn to interfere with the top plate, servo, fuel tank, etc.

As of now I will be there, I am trying to get my mom to move up here.
There is a chance I might have to drive to New Orleans to pick her up.

there's always the 1st time for nervousness and shaking for everyone esp. in a final....me too...but u'll get over it as u become more confident and relax..only thing that bothers me is the 'cramps' and 'tiredness' in a long final....rc racers also do have to take proper diet and fitness to withstand the intense finals and concentration involve....

Do you believe MTX3 Prospec are only 1000 unit worldwide ( limited edition ) ?

Here is the quote from www.mugenracing.com :

" Mugen Seiki Racing is proud to introduce the MTX-3 PROSPEC 1/10 touring car. This car will be a limited production model with only 1,000 pcs being produced for the whole world. It will contain all high-end option parts that Mugen Seiki Racing produces for the MTX-3 but in full race kit form. "

mine is a prospec..

i had a stock one when it came out. i upgraded it almost like a prospec except for the 4mm chassis. drove it for about a year and then switched to 710. and then after driving the snake for about 9 months, i switched back to mugen which was earlier this year. i couldn't get the 710 to hook up like the mugen. but luckily, when i went back to mugen, the prospec was widely available already and i got a pretty good deal on a brand new one on ebay

now, i'm waiting for the mtx-4. but i'm not getting rid of my prospec because it's just very good. the balance of handling and durability is superb. but i still can't wait to get my hands on the 4!

Default I Have a question for you

in my case, I am running in a high traction track (water+sugar) but a very bumpy track.
I am using the rear "c" block and blue spring.
I will use the next weekend the "c" rear block and purple spring, because I need less roll (remember I have high traction condition) and more smooth suspension. (Remember I have a very bumpy track)
It is right?

With the purple spring you will get more Roll, which in general more traction.
