I found the problem. The two sealing washers for the fuel line onto the carb where leaking. I sanded them flat and reinstalled them and no more leaks. It was coming off of the carb and dripping onto the brake disc. The brake disc was spraying it everywhere. Thanks for the reply back gijoe64.
Mike maybe you can get your temps down to what mine are now that it doesnt leak!

All measurements were taken using the Xipp spring dyno.
And the tenths, hundreths, and thousanths were all rounded off to nearest denomination. Hope this helps.

Check it out guys...I just bought this today. I should be getting it by Friday

http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthre...18#post1719718

I can't wait to try it out at our local track. I race at Sun Valley, CA. In my first race, I placed 3rd in the A-Main...but I saw the limitations of my NTC3. The majority of the top racers were running Mugen MTX-3's...now I have a car that will hang with the big boys

Good luck in your up-coming races!

Definitely is a monster. I was really close to buying a different Mugen MTX3 (non prospec, but it actually had more upgrades than a prospec), but it had a Mugen MT12 engine. Price was 400 (no electronics). I figured the MTX3 I just bought, is a better buy. I hear great things about the X12 engine. Plus, this car looks very clean. Hardly and scratches on the chasis, so that tells me, it hasn't been used much.

Can't wait to get it. I'll take pics of the car when I do receive it.

How often do you change glow plug ? After 10 tanks ? After 1 gallon ?

I read in another forum, there are people use the same glow plug AFTER 4 gallons of fuel

Oh, I have been drooling over the pics since my last post! I think I saw that other car for sale. You definitely got a better deal. Not saying the MT12 is a bad motor. I have one and it Rocks! It's just the X12 is newer and improved.

Bivens,
I think the price of the pipe is a bit steep don't you think, even if it was Swauger's pipe - $395
cheers

I think he messed up the price because that is pretty much the same description and price he used for the engine listing. So, probably a listing error.
