you can run the 22 with the 29, you just have to change the 58 spur to a 59. You will have less stripping if you keep the tooth differences equal.

IE: 29t and a 22t. 7 tooth difference. Use a 52 and a 59. You could use a 53 and a 60t spur.

Gonna try...
I'm planning to order a Kfactory 23t gear...(at least if there isn't a typo at the website)
Anybody tested them? They are quite cheap... are they nice?

I think that KFactory 23t is a 2nd Gear pinion with the 1.0 Mesh

I have a question about my car getting a lot of oil around the back of the car and making the second gear clutch slip. I pulled the diff apart last week and put a new gasket in it and all of the screws are tight. It is throwing oil even to the front of the car. Could it be the seal on the engine and the clutch bell is what is throwing the oil all over the place? Anyone have this before?

Do a search for spring rates. Or look back a few pages. I know someone just posted the info from one of the recent Car Mags. But i can't remember which thread it was on.

You are filling your rear diff up to much. Fill the rear diff just so that the oil covers the cross pins holding the diff gears.

Sohlman,
I think he was looking for lbs not wire thickness.

Rich Chang,
Purple front springs= 25lbs
Purple rear springs= 21lbs

Light blue fronts springs= 31lbs
Light blue rear springs= 27lbs

Dark Blue front springs= 32lbs
Dark blue rear springs= 27lbs

Grey front springs= 35lbs
Grey rear springs= 30lbs

All measurements were taken using the Xipp spring dyno.
And the tenths, hundreths, and thousanths were all rounded off to nearest denomination. Hope this helps.

Guys! all things being equal and without worrries on the performance on the straight! what is the best way to vent the engine; with the hole half on the roof (like swauger´s car) both windows cut, just the left window; half the back window, etc etc? the bodies to be used are mazda and stratus, just want to know. I´m currently using the mazda with 50mm hole straight to the engine on the upper part of the front window and with both front window cut and 60mm hole straight on the back window. for what i´ve heard, front windows cut will provide more venting on tight tracks, back window totally cut will be faster on straight but with a slightly higher temp. and the front circle higher will provide more temps but with a higher performance due to less resisance and air coming and easy to reach tank. replies appreciated!

I found the problem. The two sealing washers for the fuel line onto the carb where leaking. I sanded them flat and reinstalled them and no more leaks. It was coming off of the carb and dripping onto the brake disc. The brake disc was spraying it everywhere. Thanks for the reply back gijoe64.
