You have to check with your local governing body who will then check with your regional body as they control the entries. For example I enter through the BRCA who request a place from the EFRA allocation. The entry confirmation comes back pretty quick.

Indeed, we are AARCMCC, via the FEMCA block ...

Hi guys. Stage 1 report is out!

http://www.ifmar.org/pdf/stage%20rep...20Report_1.pdf

I was there for TITC last month. It really is a brilliant facility and a great track to drive. The grip is incredible. Can't wait!!

Willy and Dallas,

Hope you're reading this, we need to know asap the ff:

Tire brand
Tire shore
Tire diameter
New set of tires per heat or can use used tires for the next heat?
Car bodies approved list
The use of telecommunication system for drivers and pitmen and how to use it

Without all this, practice and practice races are dysfunctional.

Thanks in advance

Control tyre was announced last week. It was all over redrc and other sites. IFMAR has chosen Matrix tyres as the control and it'll be a new set issued for each run starting from controlled practice (seeding rounds). The tyres will be pre-trued 62mm rear 60mm front and I believe will be 40 shore rear and 37 shore front. You can only use each set once. Pre-seeding practice tyres can be anything however additive is strictly prohibited.

The bodies will be as per the list on IFMAR.org as well as the approved mufflers/pipes etc. I don't think this list will change much from last WC.

Comms between driver and mechanic is normal. I believe aided comms systems were band a long time ago but I could be wrong.

60/62 is standard diameter so it's probably safe to say it'll be that so for testing purposes I'll be going with that for now. Also that track is super high bite (I was there for TITC in Feb). So I will be expecting 37 shore front, 40 rear or maybe 40 front, 42 rear. Either way you'll see a 2-3 shore softer front so again you can try both combinations during practice with the matrix tyres. Depending on your local track traction you'll probably not gain much data because huge track is totally different to anything I've run on before!

Bit early to start worrying about that.. Thailand is always in a state of unrest for one reason or another (as are many countries!). I was there for TITC during the height of the protests and we didn't see anything.

Please bear in mind that the track is 20 Kms outside of Bangkok and the official hotel is just around the corner. The protest sites are in Central Bangkok and are being taken down at this time.

The protesters have now got what they want and the government has now been displaced and will be replaced with an elected party in the near future.

This will not affect the World Championships!!!

I was there April 22-29, no problems except set up issues. Curfew is to protect citizens from harm and not to cause harm

Yep that's exactly how it was in February too Joe. No problem at all. Thailand has always had issues like this for years. It doesn't worry me one bit....

So I noticed on the hugerc website that the worlds report has been updated to include the fuel choices which is either Rapicon, Maxima or Cosmo. I'll probably go with Maxima. What will you guys be going for?
