Default turbo glow plugs

I bought some of these turbo glow plugs but I can't see the turbo. Am I missing something? It looks just like a regular glow plug but the bottom is tapered. Am I supposed to run it with a nitro motor that is turboed? If so, who sells turbos? My local hobby shop said they have never heard of turbo RC motors.

Holy cow. Your hobby shop doesnt know a turbo motor. Yeah it can be confusing....but to a hobby shop they should know better.

Yes a turbo motor is nothing but a different button head and different glow plug design.

Tapered and zero gasket. What this does is create a perfect seal and makes sure the glow plug is exactly flat with the button head making for the smoothest possible chamber allowing higher airflow rates. I also believe they bring up the compression a little. Not sure though

Normally the motor will have a bit more power and rpm from this. If your motor has a turbo version then you should be able to just buy the turbo button head and the glow plug (you already have that). And swap it in and your off and turbo'd.
