Default Tire Choices

Hi Guys I'm new to rc racing I just bought a used Nt1 off of Ebay I'm not sure of what tires to use. What is the best brand of tires to get and why or are the all the same.

They are all decent, just get something affordable and maybe a little harder while your logging laps and learning to drive .... maybe 37 fronts and 42 rears, also check websites like serpent America because they sometimes have blowout specials from time to time on tires

The best foams you can get for the best price. There are lots of suppliers in the U.S. Maybe you can support your local hobby shop if they have some Matrix/HotRace/Capricorn/Contact/Exceed/Enetti/SRC. All are good tires for someone who is just starting out. 37Fronts and 42Rears are safe for an NT1. Most drivers (not all) use a 5 shore split on the NT1 because it needs a little more mechanical steering. I would get which ever one they have that is the lowest price. Even some Jaco Nitro Shoes or older Twisters if they have them would suffice.

I myself run for Matrix but have no bias to someone new coming into the hobby. Hope this helps you out.
