Default GT class bodies

I am looking for body options . What companies make bodies ? are there any that make classic hot rod bodies? if i could race my new GT2 with a 70SuperBird body, that would be awesome...

The only thing close that I can remember is during the mid 70's Associated had two staock car bodies (both 14.5" wheelbase), a Dodge Daytona and a Torino Talledega , both since long out of production - might be able to scratch up a Daytona via e-bay but be prepared to spend the long $$$

If you have a short wheel base car most of the slash bodies out there seem to fit the GT cars.. Might be something to think about. Might also look up some of the dirt oval late model bodies. I have seen something close to what your talking about in a picture but can't point you to it.

They made a very nice Porsche 911 GT body. I have a pic from the RAMS race in 1975. I"ll try to scan and post.

They do in fact make a sweet Hot Rod body! I think its Parma that makes a pretty cool 55 Chev body. Im not 100% sure its Parma but they have them in my LHS. I bet if you were to contact RCboyz.com they could get the body to you.

Other than the hot rod bodies you have many choices from companies like Alpha, Sweep, Team C and Protoform. There are other companies out there as well but these are the main liners that you will see on the tracks around the country. You then can venture into the Euro bodies as well. Body really goes with you application. You can even stick some short course bodies on the chassis if you want.

If you would like I can check up on the 55 chev body and get you some better info on it.

I too fancy the Superbird but I haven't seen anything that close to it.

That Porsche looks sweet! By the way, I believe this picture was taken at the JC Penneys service center at Eastridge Mall.

That sounds right. The strip mall had a hobby shop in it. Started with a "T" I think. This was also forty years ago. Group of 8-10 of us went in a big Ford van. RAMS also seemed to put on great races.

I wasn't even born yet but I recognize the location. There was an old hobby shop on the bottom floor that I do remember being there circa late 1980's early 90's.
