Can you get parts for this car? $900 for this car and you still have to put Mugen and Serpent parts on it? You think for this kind of money that everything would come from one company!

"hello r40victim

actually the bulkheads are very different in the way the mount to the chassis and the radioplate.

while many things "look" the same, believe me they are very different.

kevin"

That's cool, just checking. My research on 8th scale cars(basically reading countless posts and looking at all the pics) made it seem like there are few big differences amongst them. I've read about people using multiple brands parts due to availability/cost, ect...

hey jpilone

the battery packs are still the same and the new v5 requires you to have all 5 cells layed flat on the chassis because of the clearance with the servo mount.

the new upper hinge pin setup is pretty cool, we will be running the car for the first time this weekend so ill keep everyone posted.

i will have more pics posted on here tonight of the car in finished trim

You can buy a Mugen or Kyosho for less then $600 and both of these cars have won major races, even the World Championships. I never even heard of a Slide car winning a club race. You can buy 2 PRP cars and parts for the price of one Slide car and I think they even win club races.

I guess there is one good thing about the car is that when you break it you can take it to your local recycling center and get some of your money back!

I definitely don't think the car is everyone. But for the people willing to pay the price, it's a good car.
