"Dampers
The car has four hydraulic dampers - and, in a similar way to a full-size Formula 1 car, the front ones are installed horizontally, operating via pushrods that link them to the suspension wishbones."
This is partially untrue, as only the front dampers are installed horizontally, the rear ones are positioned on a 30 degree angle.

I have been making this collection since March 2012 from the german DeAgostini source... currently its on issue 64...
As you guys may have noticed, ill be changing its engine for a 4-stroke one, the FS-20 from O.S. Engines...
The transmission will also be changed, from the stock single gear to a BMT 3-speed... managed to find one on eBay as they are extremely rare...

De Agostini has been doing this for a while working with Kyosho. I had always wanted their Ferrari F2004 and F2007 car. Looks like each iteration gets more and more realistic! The original F2004 shared some parts with the older Kyosho F-Ten chassis.
But the subscription service and getting the parts piece by piece does not make financial sense to me. However, every once in a while, I see a used De Agostini car on eBay selling for $400-500 complete. They had even offered clear lexan and hard plastic (pre-painted) bodies. I wish they would just sell it as a complete all in one kit. I would gladly pay good money (okay, hoping more for $500 range) for a realistic 1/7th RC made by Kyosho!

Hell I would pay $1000 for one that I could build and race and have parts support for. I know at least 6-10 other local racers that would do the same.
Its BEAUTIFUL!! But exactly how long does it take to build? No BUY IT NOW OPTION??
What's the point?? Seems like allot money tied up for a long period of time not to mention man power to handle the subscriptions monthly.

Serpent F108? Anyone?? Niche cars not much for racing

Very nice model car ...... It looks very realistic just like Redbull F1.
Downsides : the front spoiler and upper suspension arms , are too fragile for radio control racing.

BTW, im selling my F2007 without wheels, without engine and no front and rear racing wings...

I think the arms will be fine as well as the wing itself but the wing mounts wouldnt last very long
How do you obtain the rest of the parts????

Ah! Marcus the Serpent version was on Ebay a few days ago but I can't find it now. I must say it looked very impressive. These would be a kick for sure!
