if im not wrong, i think all the engines are the same size and shape... plus the S series can fit both pull and non pull start engines...

I havent experienced that thing yet but, maybe your running to lean. try riching the main needle half turn.. if you have a temp gauge its much better you can monitor the engine's temp.. if the temp is around 90f (for break in) and still the head is changing its color then its normal, maybe the composition of the head makes it change..

Im already running 3 turns out... it still turns purple... slowly from the bottom up.... i hope its normal...

BTW, came across this site:
http://www.rccaraction.com/rc/articles/10nitro2.asp

on tip 6 it says to lube the clutch berrings... the clutch came assembled with the kit, so im not sure whats going on in there, but am i oiling it right if i spray wd40 into the 2 tiny holes from below the clutch? or do i have to unscrew and dismentle the whole thing everytime?

TIA

dont ever try to spray WD40 on your clutch bell, if you try to spray on 2 tiny holes, the clutch shoe might get wet by WD40 and will be resulting to sliding clutch. The best thing to do is dis assemble the bearing and have it lube. . .

Look on page 34 in your manual. One screw and the clutch bell should come off.
