Impressive looking car. Do you have any links for more info? I did a search, got very little, just some really old posts about a similar car...

True, but if you don't wreck you won't have replace anything for a while, just wear. The alloy and graphite parts alone will make up for a ton of parts on the MRX4 (bulkheads worn from being pulled apart, etc). Plus to the 1/8th scale boys, what's another $400?

Plastic can bounce back from a hit, when aluminum bends, it stays bent. The replacement cost for a plastic a arm will be much less than for the aluminum a arm.

wonder if it still has the break away joints on all the arms. one won't be able to continue the race if the crash is hard enough, but at least the arms will have a good chance of surviving the crash.

an engine?

and because people tend to buy a new racer every year or 2, a plastic model is a lot cheaper......

Also on a slide something can (and will) break, and if you need to replace something in a slide, it will cost you around 5 times the price of the other cars.......

One of my buddies that is sponsored by Slide should be receiving his kit very soon. If you have any questions in regards to anything about the new slide, you can contact him at [email protected]. They are the sole distributor for the slide and they should have all the parts avaliable very soon.
