Has any one ever worked out how much money you could spend on a v-one-r just with Kawahara...............the mind boggles

Alot, you could just buy the parts from the reflex NT for cheaper and have almost the same parts

yeah stick to non moving parts for k factory. chassis, braces, top deck tanks etc. i use the k factory brake as the only moving part. seems to work well.

by the way is there a company that makes a lightened main shaft? i'm already using the 5 star shaft for the front along with kawa first gear holder and home made lightened 2nd gear

Kawahara stuff can add up. I think I've spent 450++ for all of the stuff i have. And I didnt even get a neg diff or the new titanium pivot balls. Looks nice once its done. Steve Pond's Kawahara V One R (RC Nitro Oct 02) is a good example, but IMO the photo doesnt do the car any justice.

BTW, Reflex/K Factory parts has nothing on Kawahara. Its like comparing a KIA to a Porsche.
