Here's my EVO from about a year and a half ago. I pretty much did most of what the RRR had become using the existing chassis and parts. I modded a TC3 tank over a flat AAA pack for less and forward weight. But right now I have a vaccum formed battery case under the tank with a PT mount behind it with a slightly different upper CF deck. And it has the frt/rr RRR hubs, and a Kawahara Micro SS clutch. The car weighs in at 1610g with body, fuel and PT. It handles just as well as the RRR, just not as adjustable as far as diff swapping and RC hinge pin changes. I'll try to post an update pick if you want.
