Default RS4 losing control

My rs4 evo keeps losing control. Just put new batterys and hpi sent me a new reciever and transmitter. What else could cause the problem? The car just randomly loses control and takes off. I lose steering and throttle.

It could be a broken wire somewhere or maybe a NIMH or LiPo battery would be better?

Check to see no damage to any cables between the battery cell holder, Power switch and the receiver. And look at installing a rubber band on your carby as a fail safe to close the carby back to idle so you don't destroy your car if it happens again.

And Richard is right at least look at getting a NMH receiver pack and charger to ditch the AA cells you are using as they can pop out of the battery cell holder as well.

A battery like this should fit in the same spot and is more reliable...
