I just got back from the airport!

man was it HOT!!

I have a TON of pictures to sort through, but I will get some online (maybe a few tonight, don't get your hopes up though) in the next few days.

I'm at work right now, and don't have access to edit photos, etc.

tpczx6- my problem wasn't the car not staying together. I popped a few teeth on the spool a couple times, but for the most part my car stayed together. Like you said, the car stepped out all over the track and there was nothing I could do to stop it. Good job in master's class. Just out of curiousity, what kind of setup were you using at the Biggie?

I wasn't slamming RCRCNT- they did a fine job and tried everything they knew to fix the problem. However, I've since heard that they sprayed the track heavy with VHT and the Kyosho, Serpent, Mugen cars wouldn't do anything but traction roll. That would've helped me a ton!!

Bigdog it's too bad Barry did not make it. Revelation has a similar surface (lots of VHT but dusty sometimes) and Barry is super fast there with his NTC3.

I just got back from Texas and had a blast. Too bad i couldn't get it together for any of my qualifiers but it was fun. I thought the event went really well untill the A-main confusion. As for mikey's battery running out I don't think it was the capacity or quality of the batteries. If the mains would have ran straight with out the two hour delay i think the pack would have made it.
I Don't know how anybody can say Mike Swauger was not prepared when he pretty much dominated the weekend and things just did not work out on the hour main. I thought Mike Swauger, Josh Cyrul and Paulo morganti had the fast looking cars in the A-main. When the main started it looked like it was go to one of those three drivers they just seemed that fast and Josh ended up with the win.

RE: jeff lin he drove a good race and finished the race with out one incident and was really fast and smooth after the rain delay.

By the way, thanks to Surge, Pit racer, Punisher, and Ron Atomic for all the help during my stay in Texas. Too bad Ron Atomic's car was damaged in the early part of the A-main because it looked pretty good before that.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Mike's battery pack gave up before the rain delay.

The funny thing here is, GP and IB are both Chinese, and Sanyo is Japanese, so what Asian companies are you talking about?

During the 2 hour delay could Mike repeak his batteries or were the Drivers not allowed to touch their cars.

i had a lot of fun too. i never really got the car dialed in, but it was still a good time. i think i wound up 7th or 8th in the D main. i couldnt get my car together for my qualifiers, something was always going wrong. i would up in the F main, but i bumped up to D. i had a pretty good start in the D, i must have gotten atleast to 5th from the start, but then someone hit me from behind and knocked my body up in my car. i needed a turnmarshal to fix the car, but by that time, i was far behind in last.... the other driver got a warning, but oh well.... it was fun... too bad it took me so long to get my car working good. jwf_frani it was nice to meet you. you are a good driver.
