I would think nail polish would be very harsh on almost everything non metal.

A-I what will be the ratio of rubbing alcohol to simple green???and does it make a difference if i put the simple green and alcohol in a spray bottle and spray on the place i want to clean and then blast it with air compressor???thanks

ntc3freak: You can use any ratio you like. But remember alcohol is going to evaporate quicker and probably cause less rusting.

So the higher amount of alcohol the better. The simple green will give the alcohol some extra added kick at really any level.
