Default time for a new engine in my GT!

MY stock .28 engine in my gt1 has seen better days , I am thinking of installing a LRP .28 spec 3 in it or a .30 . I know i have to order the engine mounts ? is that all thats needed is it a straight drop in and also i would like to use the gt2 3 shoe clutch and flywheel are there any other engines thats comparable in price and performance i am familiar with the LRP .28 because i have it in my TRAXXAS REVO and it runs hard, but i am open to suggestions .thnx

Personally I prefer Novarossi to any engine. You can find a nice .21 in either a 4 or 5 port for the GT1 and it will do you very well for a very long time. Amain carries a few choices that are good. As long as your motor has a purple cooling head you'll be a happy camper.

Go .25 6p with turbo button ... ive been using it on GT for 1 1/2 years, won international races, won local races, very powerful engine, VERY CHEAP, very reliable ...

I had great luck with the LRP 28 in my GT2. I ran it with a THS8015 pipe.

A Buku clutch would also be a nice option for your new power plant.

The THS8015 designed for shaft drive car. It really works good and the price is very reasonable.

Default engine

i drove a werks b5 (not pro series ) engine for 15 races ( 9 off road races and 6 gt races that i tunned to the limite.... and now the engine is done ( RIP ) .... good job for me .... this engine give me a lot of state race victories and cup races and allways give me the powerband i need for gt or buggy .... in this time this engine was used in happyhour times too .... is the best engine for the money .... now i put an werks B6(2010) on the car ...... and i have an B7 team line with 3 races ( a baby yet ) ... but i cant use in state races again cause the limite price of the rules is under usd260 for 2 speed trans .... but was the best engine i race in my gt car ....
i have a new nova rossi p5xl and pipe that i will make a test drive soon , maybe it can work well too ...

thanks everyone ,i have decided on the LRP.30 and the ths pipe i have had very good luck with the lrp.28 with a jp pipe on my revo plus its less than $200, and i have the ths pipe on my Traxxas Jato with a OS.21 and it screams , the other engines may be better but with having 4 cars those engines are are a little over my budget .my friend has the Lrp .30 on his gt2 and it runs like a raped monkey
